Setting Up Your App Icon & Splash Screen
Your app icon and splash screen are the first things users see when they find and open your app. Because these assets are bundled with the app itself, updating them requires submitting a new app update — so it's worth getting them right from the start.
When you're ready, you can upload your assets in Settings.
App Icon
Required size: 1024×1024px
Your app icon is the primary visual identity for your event app. Since updating these assets requires a full app update (they can't be changed on the fly), we strongly recommend using evergreen imagery — logos, abstract marks, or brand visuals that aren't tied to a specific event or year. Avoid text like "2025 Conference" that will become outdated.
Splash Screen
Required size: 2732×2732px
The splash screen is the loading screen users see briefly when opening the app. Like the icon, it requires an app update to change, so evergreen branding is strongly recommended here as well.
Artwork safe zone: For best results, keep your main artwork within a centered 1200×1200px square. Content outside this area may be cropped on smaller screens.

Tip: Your splash screen can use the same artwork as your icon — just add more surrounding margin/padding to fill the larger canvas. This keeps your branding consistent and makes asset creation simple.
