Add a Custom Domain (legacy)
With eventOne, you can set the URL of your app landing page.
You will be given a convention.page subdomain to act as your app landing page by default. You may change your subdomain to any unclaimed subdomain under convention.cloud by updating the App Name.
To set up a custom domain, first, submit your chosen domain to eventOne by adding a domain in the Domain Settings page as shown above. In this example, we are showing MICHN's setup to point www.inchcoference.org to their event landing page. Next, go to your DNS provider's website (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Amazon Route 53). Look for a place to add a CNAME record, and create a CNAME ('canonical domain') record from your chosen custom domain to <your_app_name>.convention.page. For example, if we had a customer who wanted to host their landing page on their custom domain www.inchconference.org:
Once you save this record, your DNS provider will start putting the changes into effect. These changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect but usually will be visible within an hour.
